The Fleuria Reading Retreat Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking. By purchasing a reservation for The Fleuria Reading Retreat, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Retreat Reservations & Payment

The Fleuria Reading Retreat is organized by The Fleuria LLC ("The Fleuria") and takes place January 15–18, 2027, at The Good House in Desert Hot Springs, California.

Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of full payment through our website. Room pricing includes accommodations for one guest unless an additional overnight guest is purchased.

Eligible guests may have the option to use Shop Pay Installments at checkout. Financing availability and terms are determined by the payment provider. The Fleuria does not administer installment plans directly.

Guests must be at least 18 years old to attend.

2. What's Included

Your reservation includes three nights of accommodations, scheduled retreat meals, access to designated resort amenities, planned group activities and curated welcome gifts.

Meals include Friday welcome dinner, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday, and Monday farewell breakfast.

Transportation, alcoholic beverages, optional spa treatments, personal purchases and other expenses not expressly listed as included are the guest's responsibility.

Retreat activities and meal offerings may be adjusted as needed. Any substitutions will be made with the intention of preserving the overall retreat experience.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Due to the limited number of accommodations and advance commitments required to host this retreat, all reservations are final and nonrefundable.

Refunds will not be provided for cancellations, late arrivals, early departures, missed activities or changes in personal circumstances, except where required by applicable law.

If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your reservation to another eligible guest. All transfers require prior written approval from The Fleuria and must be completed before the retreat begins. The original purchaser is responsible for arranging any reimbursement from the replacement guest.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes appropriate trip cancellation coverage.

4. Cancellation or Changes by The Fleuria

In the unlikely event that The Fleuria cancels the retreat in its entirety, guests will receive a full refund of payments made to The Fleuria for their retreat reservation.

The Fleuria is not responsible for separately purchased airfare, transportation, travel insurance or other expenses incurred by guests, except where required by law.

If circumstances outside our reasonable control affect the retreat, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions or an unexpected property closure, we will communicate promptly with guests regarding available options.

We may make reasonable changes to the schedule, activities or vendors when necessary. If a material change substantially affects the retreat experience, we will communicate the change and any applicable options to guests.

5. Accommodations & Additional Guests

Room assignments are based on the accommodation category purchased. Specific room locations or layouts within a category are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed by The Fleuria.

Each accommodation reservation includes one guest. A second guest may attend by purchasing the Additional Overnight Guest option for $995, subject to room occupancy limits.

Additional guests share the existing bed. No additional beds are provided.

Guests agree to follow The Good House's property rules and are responsible for any damage or additional charges resulting from their actions beyond normal wear and tear.

6. Dietary Restrictions & Allergies

We will request dietary preferences and allergy information before the retreat and work with our culinary partners to accommodate guests whenever reasonably possible.

Guests are responsible for providing accurate information in advance. While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate dietary needs, an entirely allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed.

Guests with severe allergies or specialized dietary requirements should contact The Fleuria before booking to discuss their needs.

7. Health, Safety & Resort Amenities

Participation in retreat activities and use of resort amenities, including mineral hot spring pools and the sauna, is voluntary.

Guests acknowledge that hot water, pools, saunas, outdoor areas and wellness activities involve inherent risks. Guests are responsible for assessing their own health and physical ability before participating and should consult a qualified healthcare professional if they have relevant concerns.

Guests must follow all posted property rules, safety instructions and directions from resort staff.

The Fleuria does not provide medical services. Guests are responsible for obtaining any medical care they may require during the retreat.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

8. Travel & Transportation

Guests are responsible for arranging and paying for their own transportation to and from the retreat.

Complimentary on-site parking is available at The Good House. Electric vehicle charging is not available on the property.

The Fleuria is not responsible for travel delays, canceled flights, vehicle issues or other transportation disruptions.

9. Guest Conduct

We want every guest to feel welcome, comfortable and respected.

All attendees are expected to treat fellow guests, staff and property personnel with courtesy and respect.

Harassment, threatening behavior, unsafe conduct or intentional property damage will not be tolerated. The Fleuria may require a guest to leave the retreat for serious misconduct, subject to applicable law. In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed.

10. Photography & Privacy

Photography and video may take place during the retreat for The Fleuria's promotional and social media content.

Guests who prefer not to appear in promotional photographs or videos may notify us in writing before the retreat. We will make reasonable efforts to respect those preferences.

We will use personal information collected during registration and retreat planning to administer reservations, communicate important details and coordinate guest needs, in accordance with our applicable privacy policy.

11. Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings throughout the retreat.

The Fleuria is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal property except where responsibility is imposed by applicable law.

12. Agreement to Terms

By completing a retreat reservation, the purchaser confirms that they have reviewed and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

Guests booking for an additional attendee are responsible for sharing these terms with that person. Each attendee may be required to complete additional guest information or acknowledgment forms before arrival.

These terms are governed by applicable California law. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

For questions about these terms or your reservation, please contact The Fleuria through our official website.
